The Chalkwell Ladies, Ms Edna Regis and Ms Susan Blairgowrie (aka Lorraine Bowen and Karina Towsend) are a fabulous tweed-suited duo. Their studies into modern "tunes" means they can perform just over an hour long set, comprising songs, electronic improvisations and dances - all brilliantly executed, hilariously funny, yet surprisingly toe-tapping and tuneful.
Susan and Edna are multi-talented, performing on saxophone, clarinet, with their beautiful voices and many modern and retro electronic instruments.
